The Washington African American Chamber of Commerce was founded in WAACOC provides Business Masterclasses designed to give entrepreneurs the tools they need to succeed. Our expert-led courses cover topics that are essential for every business owner, including:

WAACOC’s instructors are industry experts committed to helping Black-owned businesses reach new heights.1950 to address the unique challenges African American entrepreneurs face. Over the years, WAACOC has grown into a leading advocate for Black-owned businesses, providing resources, mentorship, and financial support to help businesses flourish.
WAACOC’s legacy is built on collaboration. We have expanded our reach and impact through partnerships with local governments, financial institutions, and educational organizations.
From advocating for policy changes that benefit minority-owned businesses to hosting educational workshops, WAACOC continues to be a vital resource for entrepreneurs across Washington State.
WAACOC is dedicated to making funding more accessible to Black entrepreneurs. We understand that lack of access to capital can be a significant barrier to business success, so we’ve developed partnerships to help our members tap into grants, loans, and scholarships.
In 2023 alone, WAACOC awarded $1,500 in scholarships to local high school students who aspire to pursue business degrees. Our grants and scholarships are designed to provide financial support for both aspiring and established business owners.
A specialized program for African American women in business. NAWA provides mentorship, leadership training, and access to resources that support the unique needs of women entrepreneurs.
Running a business often requires expert legal guidance. WAACOC provides access to legal professionals who specialize in small business law, helping you navigate regulations, contracts, and industry-specific challenges.
