History

The Washington African American Chamber of Commerce was founded in 2019 to address the unique challenges African American entrepreneurs face. Over the years, WAACOC has grown into a leading advocate for Black-owned businesses, providing resources, mentorship, and financial support to help businesses flourish.

WAACOC’s legacy is built on collaboration. We have expanded our reach and impact through partnerships with local governments, financial institutions, and educational organizations.

From advocating for policy changes that benefit minority-owned businesses to hosting educational workshops, WAACOC continues to be a vital resource for entrepreneurs across Washington State.
